The Twin Bridges Cycle Camp Project
In the dead of winter this last year, an idea occured to Bill White, the founder of the Twin Bridges Cycle Camp. Several of us were talking one day and Bill says, "you know what we ought to do here... we should build a campground for the cyclists that come through here every year so they' stop and spend a little time in our community and get to know a little about Twin Bridges". Well, the more Bill talked, and the more we listened, the more the idea started coming together. A few donations started, and volunteers were rounded up, and as the snow melted off, the real project got started.
Here are some pictures of the gazebo for the cycle camp. The gazebo houses the showers, the bathrooms, the indoor benches and tables, the bike rack, everything, including the kitchen sink!
The cycle camp project began as a simple idea and with some hard work, the Cycle Camp has become a reality.

Finally, after some weather delays, and some more weather delays, the idea comes to life.
Here is is, the Twin Bridges Cycle Campground.
